Boys 15 - (Martin) Update

Smyrna Stars Boys 15

AAU Super Regional in Macon, GA

Although the boys are an “undersized team” they played with a lot of heart and won their pool to advance to the semi-finals on Sunday. The Stars took out the much larger Macon Bucks in the semi-final game to advance to the championship game against the Middle GA Flyers, anchored by their 6’8 center. The undersized Stars shocked the world on Saturday and beat the Middle GA flyers by 21 points proving that size sometimes doesn’t matter!!! However, the boys weren’t able to muster up that same performance in the championship game but earned their Nationals bid by taking 2nd place
